It was another great time working with Nintendo at E3 for my fourth year! My, oh, myyyyy how time flies!!! This was the very first year that E3 became open to the public, and the Los Angeles Convention Center filled with 15,000 more people this year! Gamers and video game enthusiasts from around the world to hit up the Nintendo booth and play in the tournaments! Always a blast hanging with the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, anddddd Mario himself!
A small-town girl, Nintendo is a way of lifeeeee for me!! I tried to match my makeup with my Nintendo nostalgia, and had a hard time deciding between Princess Peach eye makeup or Mario red lipstick. So I went with Mario red. Kat Von D’s red liquid lipstick was my go-to choice because it stays put without requiring touch-ups. I opted for stealth mode skin with Honey Girl Organic’s moisturizer and Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation. I wanted the Mario red lip color to be the focal point of the look, so I kept my eye look super natural with a soft brown shadow swept through the crease, and a few coats of Pacifica Dream Big mascara.
It was such a memorable week and I miss everyone soooooooooo much already!!! Thank you so, so, so much to Nintendo & Lead Detectors for another amazing year!! Much love!!! XO ~Kelle
Aloha, darlingggggs!!! So excited to review some more products from one of my favorite Hawaiian skincare lines: Honey Girl Organics! They are an organic, cruelty-free & gmo-free skincare company located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. If you have been following my blog or YouTube channel for a while, you have probably seen my previous review of two of my all time favorite products by Honey Girl Organics: The Lotion Face & Body and HoneyGlo Regenerating Face Serum. Both of these skin-soothing gems are in my skincare routine 7 days a week.
Recently, Honey Girl Organics (HGO) sent me a few more products to try out, in which I am also head over Hawaiian heels in love. One of the most remarkable things about this line is that they include only a handful or two of natural & organic ingredients in their products. All ingredients of which we can pronounce and don’t need to run for a dictionary for enlightenment. This speaks even more volumes to the testament of outstanding quality and hydration power of their products, WITHOUT a ton of bizarre ingredients.
These luxurious, emollient-rich gems outshine some of my best high-end skincare products. My fellow dry skin peeps (and those of you with sensitive skin) would definitely appreciate one of the latest products I’ve been loving by HGO: the Face & Eye Cream. This double duo cream for face & eyes works wonders. Oil-based, this cream handles dry skin like none other! I like to use it for eye & facial massages before bed. Its herbal, aromatherapeutic scent is amazingggggg and the teeniest, tiniest drop goes a longgggg way. The compact jar size is also a great 2-n-1 product for traveling and long flights that drain the moisture from our skin!
Before makeup application, I have been prepping my skin with the HGO Propolis, Rose, Neroli Facial Toner. After my makeup is good-to-go I give my skin another spritz with this herbal-scented toner to lock things in. Infused with only seven skin-calming, clearing, & refreshing ingredients, this toner is sooooooo relaxing after “a day.” I may have to pop it in the fridge for a cool skin refreshing pick-me-up in hot L.A. summer days 🙂
The last product in my video review is the Honey Girl Organics Facial Cleanser & Makeup Remover. It is a gentle, oil-based cleanser for dry and/or sensitive skin. I like to use it for stubborn waterproof eyeliner & lipsticks. When I use it to remove lipstick, I take a cotton pad to apply the cleanser. Then I gently swipe away the lipstick with the cleanser, and after I’m done my lips feel exfoliated and as if they have a light, soothing layer of lip balm. This cleanser is sooooo hydrating. Love it!!!
Each Honey Girl Organics product is handmade to ensure quality of each product. So be sure to give each product a slight shake to ensure they are mixed together before each use. Hope you guys enjoyed my review! Many thanks to Honey Girl Organics for nurturing my skin!!!! Much love & MAHALO!! ❤ ❤ ~Kelle

Happy Sunday, everyone! So every time I go to get ready for the day, or for an event, or for what the day holds, I find myself in a bit of a frenzy. My vanity seems to have overflowed and has magically plopped half of its unorganized contents onto the floor in front of my full length mirror. I say “half,” however, if a hummingbird wanted to rest its wings on my vanity, it too, would be searching for some floor space. There is not a granule of room left on my vanity. So now I just get ready on the floor, which I prefer over sitting in a chair, because it is grounding, closer to earth, and comfy.
This weekend I found myself daydreaming about a spiritually spacious new vanity. Is there such a thing as a buddhist style vanity? One in which you can sit under the vanity cross-legged and chant while you get ready? I know what you are thinking, is not vanity against buddhist belief? And the answer is, well of course. However, a girl does need to get ready, and she might as well get ready to spiritually handle the day (or night), with a buddhist style vanity. I can see it now. My buddhist dream vanity (area) would contain all of the four elements: earth, air, fire & water. The table part of the vanity would be earthy and sustainable, like this Arhaus Petra table, made from fossilized trees from the grounds of the volcanic Central Philippines. A girl needs spiritual space, so I would definitely need two of these Petra tables connected end-to-end, and placed up against a wide wall. I believe the Petra is a dining table, but because this is an enchanted dream, the legs surely could be shortened for buddhist ground-sitting purposes. There would be plentyyyy of Petra table space left for a hummingbird feeder and even for peacefully eating my moong beans & rice and sipping kombucha as I get ready 🙂 If you are searching for a table for your dream room or house, Arhaus dining tables are sooooo stunning!! The rug under the vanity table would be this stunning Arhaus Amrita Hand Knotted Medallion Rug in the shade, Olive. The Petra table would be surrounded by Moroccan, Egyptian, & Bohemian style pillows on the floor. Upon which to sit cross-legged and deep breathe, until my face turns red from breath of fire kundalini meditation (completely defeating the purpose of applying my fair skin foundation); whilst chanting ong-na-mo-guru-dayyyyyy to the rooftops 🙂 I imagine the pillow colors would reflect earth, air, fire, water qualities. Pillows with gorgeous designs and embroidery, similar to these pillows from Anthropologie…
The mirror on the vanity would look similar to this Arhaus Galvanized Leaf Mirror. I love its whimsical, rustic charm, and the earthy aspect of its leaves. The vanity would definitely need some fire, water, and air flare with these gorgeous candles and diffuser from Volupsa. The Voluspa Makassar Ebony & Peach is my absolute favorite candle scent in all of life. This diffuser would definitely give the water vibe that this beach baby needs.
It would also not be spiritually equipped without some stone candle holders and jewelry holders. I loveeee these Arhaus River Stone Tealight Holders and River Stone Bowls. Next is the organizational tray decor for the buddhist dream vanity. It would definitely include these stunning Arhaus trays. The first would be this Petra Century Marble Tray (loveeeee its Grecian vibe) for my perfumes,
Lastly, but certainly not leastly, is lighting. This is an important feature to a vanity when getting ready. Also important for checking the last minute details of your finished, ready-to-take-on-the-universe look! The dream consists of several of these Arhaus Taza Large Pendant ceiling lights hanging above the Petra tables. They are made of iron and amber colored glass, and go sooooo beautifully with the Petras. I think they are just perfect for a spiritual space. SO, my loves, this basically sums up my buddhist vanity dream. I hope you guys enjoy it! I would love to hear your thoughts and what your dream vanity entails! Much love!!!! ❤ ❤ ~Kelle
TGIF, everyone!!! In my latest video, I share with you a bit about my crazy week. A few things happened. I auditioned forThe Voice, and that day, lost my voice. The day before my audition I was a nervous wreck and I battled my nerves by singing for far too long the day before, and morning of the audition. Long story short: I didn’t make it to callback this time. This means I have a ton more work to do on my voice :)))) It was an amazing learning experience and I couldn’t have had any more fun than I did that day. The lesson learned was to not over-prepare for vocal auditions 🙂 I also have some more news! I am currently ranked #1 with a current reach of over 1.3 million (what the!!!!?????) inThe Music Development Agency’s #FansDecide100k $100,000 music contest!! I just cannot even believe it!! If you would like to vote for me to win the $100,000 EP deal, please tweet the following:
Many thanks to everyone who has voted me to the #1 mark and an especially big thanks to those of you who are repeat voting for me daily. Your support is TREMENDOUS!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! SO, while on the topic of music, I decided to review Too Faced’s Rock N Roll palette! It had been sitting on my vanity for a good 6 months, just waiting for me to review it.
This palette is pigmented a so rockinnnnn for smokey eye looks! The shades swatches beautifully and blend onto the eye magically.
My favorite colors in the palette are Rap & Ska. Rap is gorgeous for finish an eye look by popping it into the center of the eye. Ska is a gorgeous shade of all over the lid for both day and night looks. Rockabilly, New Wave, & New Romantic are velvety, gorgeous transition shades. Pop, Heavy Metal, Glam Rock, & Punk are gorgeous shades (containing small glitter flecks) that are beautiful for smokey eyes. That all said, this will be my go-to palette for smokey eye looks.
The small, tin packaging is perfect for traveling. The packaging of these palettes are one of the reasons why I also like to travel with my Too Faced Peanut Butter palette so much. the only critique I have about this palette is that I wish it included a brow bone/inner eye highlight shade. But all in all, I adore this palette. I hope you enjoy the look I created with it in the video. Much love and happy weekend!! ❤ ❤ ~Kelle
Greetings, dears!! In my latest video is a makeup look for tv commercial castings. If you are a model or actor, this is definitely the video for you! This commercial look is also a great look for anyone to rock on jeans & t-shirt days! The art of commercial makeup for camera and print work can be very tricky. It can also take the most time to achieve versus “louder” makeup look applications. As a model and actor for over ten years, it has taken me a longgggg time to learn that soft, “barely there” makeup look that pops on camera. When preparing for that day of castings, we don’t have makeup artists with us to make us feel confident before walking into that room full of eyes. This can sometimes be stressful and lead to the over-application of makeup, which is counter-intuitive to a natural commercial look. So when you can master a barely there commercial look that looks like you, that stands out naturally, photographs/films really well, andmakes you feel confident in that casting room….you will be unstoppable in those castings! And unstoppable in a comfy sweatshirt and jeans! Much love!! ~Kelle
Ahhhhhhh aromatherapy! It’s about that time for April favourites (in May lol). Lately I have been rather obsessed with Soap & Glory’s Smoothie Star Body Milk. It is incredibly moisturizing and smells like a dream. It is a gourmand scent with almond, honey, oats etc. I don’t find the scent to be sickening sweet, but rather, a calming sweet accord-ion of well-orchestrated notes. It layers so nicely with musks & floriental perfumes. Absolutely loveeeee it!
Another favorite is my Ibiza round hair brush. This brush beats every brush I own! A blow dry is just never quite the same if I try and blow dry my hair with my other brushes. The Ibiza grabs every strand of hair in a section with one swipe, smoothes & shines each strand, and brushes through it effortlessly. If you have long hair, this is amazing for big Bridget Bardot waves. Also great for straight hair looks. It is a blow dry and styling must!
April wouldn’t have been the same without my Physician’s Formula Bronze Booster in the shade: light to medium. It is similar in shade to my beloved butter bronzer, but has more of a glow due to its sheen. The sheen doesn’t register as glitter on the skin, but instead as a sun kissed glow. When I wear a faux tan, this is the bronzer I pair with it. As reflected in the below photos, this bronzer is very well loved :)))

My skin cleansing routine in April included a new cream cleanser I have been adoring from Lily of the Desert. I’ve been testing out several products from this line over recent months and will be mentioning a few more of my faves very soon. This gentle, aloe-based cleanser is fantastic for my dry skin peeps. It has been my go-to cleanser for a quick scrub before and after my workouts. I love that it also includes chamomile. #soothing ❤
After cleansing, my skin gets a quick daily exfoliation with Doll Face Beauty’s Clarify Tonic. I’ve mentioned this baby many times on my blog and channel. It is THAT good. The glycolic acid in this balancing tonic keeps my skin exfoliated and refreshed. I wear it once daily either right before moisturizing/pre-makeup or before bed prior to moisturizing. ❤ it!
Another skincare product that I was never without in April was my Honey Girl Organics The Lotion Face & Body moisturizer. It preps and plumps my skin for makeup and keeps it deeply moisturized all day long. Cruelty-free, organic, gluten-free & made with honey and skin-soothing luscious oils, this emollient moisturizer is the bees knees.
Lastly, but certain not leastly, is my DW Home Black Rose Oud candle. This is basically heaven on earth. The scent is rich, decadent and sooooo relaxing. This candle falls into my top 5 candles list of all time. I will be doing that blog and video someday soon :))))) Maybe it’s just me, but every once and while I will get a wiff of tobacco with the rose and oud notes. I am like a mad woman on the hunt for a perfume that smells identical to this black rose oud scent. The gold lid with black bow & black glass holder makes the presentation of this candle so classic and chic for the home or to give as a gift. A bath and bubbles would not be the same without this black rose beauty. #DIVINITY
