Hi my loves! If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have seen that last week I highlighted my hair for my recent Tieks by Gavrieli photo shoot at Hotel Casa Del Mar! A blog post on the most comfortable ballet flats I’ve ever worn will be coming soon! For my hair, I chose Loreal’s Frost & Design in the shade H85 Champagne. In the past I’ve added lowlights, but never highlights, and therefore, was a bit nervous. But I thought I’d give it a try because you only live once! It is the kind of all-over highlights that you pull through a cap. This method gives precise all over highlights, without having to worry about product spots dropping on your hair. Pulling hair through the holes with the enclosed crochet type hook can be tricky. Using a mirror to see the back was essential. Also important to pull hair through the holes very gently. Because I was fearful of epic amateur hair failure, I did not leave the product in long enough. So my first attempt at highlighting was hardly noticeable. Last night I thought I’d try it again, and picked up some more of the same flavor. I left it on for 15 minutes longer this time and I am so glad I did. The color is almost back to being exactly the same as when I first started modeling for only $22! Thank you so much, Loreal! Hair photo shoots are my absolute favorite to shoot, so I took some artsy photos of my new hairdo on my Canon.
Coloring my own hair was so much fun, too! It was like painting! Have a great weekend everyone! xoxo ~Kelle
