Howdy, ya’lls! In my 599 Fashion Haul video, I give you my first impressions and review of the budget friendly finds available at 599Fashion.com ! If you love fashion as much as I do, then this video is for you! 599 Fashion contacted me about reviewing some of their items because they thought my subscribers might love to hear about their uber-affordable products: clothing, jewelry, makeup, pet products, accessories, etc!! The world is your oyster when it comes to fashion, and you can come up with just about any fashion look with the low, everything under $10 price tags available at 599Fashion.com! Another thing that I love about this site is that they offer free exchanges/returns; a great perk when many other uber-affordable stores and sites are final sale. When selecting your sizes, it is really handy that 599 shows you what the model’s sizes are in the item thumbnails, as well as what item size she is wearing, so that you can compare your sizes to what the model has on (they use all different sizes of models, including plus size clothing & models, which is FANTASTIC!!!). So you should not have any issues with finding something that fits, and if it doesn’t fit, you can always exchange or return it for something that will. In this 599 Fashion Haul video, I review five items that I selected from the 599fashion.com website, and try them on for you as well. I could not be more happy with the quality, fit, & look of every single item I received! I do love my sweaters to fit on the baggier side, so I went with a large in the Aztec sweater. Very happy that I did, because it fits exactly the way I hoped it would! All of the dresses I ordered have some stretch to them, which helps to compliment your curves. They look & feel quality made, and the hems/seams are sewn outstanding! Love that! I am still shocked about the amazing quality and prices of the items they sent me. Many stores/brands charge a lot more than $5.99 for a tie dye dress!!! That is for sure!!! I hope this video gives you some ideas for styling your fashion finds as well. With the holidays right around the corner, 599Fashion.com is great for affordable gifts and stocking stuffers, too! If you liked my 599 Fashion Haul vid, please be sure to give it a thumb up & subscribe to my channel. Thank you so much to 599Fashion.com for providing my subscribers and followers with some outstanding & affordable fashion options!! Much love!! xoxo ~Kelle
Happy weekend, everyone!! In my Smashbox Double Exposure Palette Review video, I share with you my first impressions and swatches, including both wet & dry shadow comparisons. If you are not familiar with this palette, Smashbox claims that these shadows can be used both wet & dry, and without the strange glaze appearing (that regular shadows can sometimes get when applied wet). I decided to review this palette because I had seen so many contrasting reviews on it, and wanted to debunk them myself. The palette comes with a red double-sided brush. I love the soft shadow brush, but not privy to the slanted brush on the opposite end.
The Full Exposure travel sized mascara that is included with this palette was not so great, but still capable of enhancing the lashes. It did take me about 7+ coats to get the look of how one coat would look with a good mascara. In the video, the swatches were very fussy. A few of the swatches had a hard time showing up on camera even after double swatches, namely, the shades Peony, Quartz & Veiled. When applied wet, the shades are supposed to add sparkle, get deeper in color or turn metallic, according to the Smashbox insert that comes with the palette. I didn’t really notice any of the textures change when applied wet, I just noticed them become better versions of themselves.
Drugstore palettes have swatched better than the dry swatches in this palette did. That said, it would have been nice if the dry shades swatched on the first swatch the way the wet shades looked when swatched twice. On the contrary, the shadows applied to my eyes nicely, and were easy to blend. They are build-able both wet and dry (with a good primer & synthetic brushes). Sometimes wet shadows can get patchy when applied, and these did not. They blended well as dry shadows and also when applied with a lightly dampened brush. It was impressive to see a matte shade be applied wet and blend in evenly without leaving the streaky, patchy mess that some matte shadows can create when applied wet . As you saw in the video, the 6th hour check in was the moment of truth. Was it worth the splurge? Yes. Impressively, the shadow did not falter! Talk about staying power, no creasing, no patchiness, and no weird wet shadow glaze. I love the shade selection of warm/cool colors and the array of satin/matte/shimmer textures. The Double Exposure palette comes with 3 matte shades, 7 shimmer shades, & 4 satin shades. My favorite shade is Haze. It is a purple-grey-taupe shimmer shade with a hint of duo chrome that I can’t put my finger on. The shimmer is very subtle. I loved it as the backdrop for the smoky eye.
Haze is also a great shade for a simple wash of shadow look. Despite not-so-great wet & dry swatches, I am really loving this palette. As shown in the video, the application of these shadows was a far different experience than the swatching lol. Love that I can build up my desired vibrancy with this shades. I prefer adding more shadow when needed over feeling like I need an eraser if I’ve added too much. This is a great palette if you love shadow liner looks, because you can build your liner up by applying water to these shades, that lasts all day (especially when used as a topper to your waterliner pencils)! If you are beginning with makeup, this palette would be great for you. The shade selection is also fantasic for Fall looks. I really hope this Smashbox Double Exposure Palette Review video helps your purchasing decisions in some way :))))) If you liked this vid, please be sure to give it a thumb up & don’t forget to subscribe for more future beauty and fashion reviews.

Happy weekend, everyone!! In this video I share with you my first impressions, swatches, & review of some of Wet N Wild’s latest makeup products! If you love the duo chrome shade in their Comfort Zone palette, then you will surely love the new duo chrome shade in their new Plaid To The Bone palette! I am obsesssssed with it!! I picked up the Plaid to the Bone
& Velour Vixen palettes recently. Both are limited edition Wet N Wild palettes for Autumn 2016. I also picked up their ‘Unchained’ shade in their regular single shade line, and the new Color Icon ‘Green As Thistle’ mascara. Let’s talk about the shadows. They are fantastic, pigmented, buttery smooth textures (per usual, for Wet N Wild shadows). However, I do wish that the maroon shade would apply a bit more pigmented (see below for swatch).
BUT it is nothing that a few more layers, or a spritz of face mist on your brush can’t fix! The cream shade in the Velour Vixen palette is buttery, however, doesn’t swatch well, but does blend like a dream.
The navy shade in the Plaid To The Bone palette, wierd-ly, does not swatch navy at all. It ends up swatching into a beautiful satin teal shade (3rd swatch from right as shown below). All shades are build-able. Love that.
The duo chrome shade is my favorite of the bunch, surprise, surprise! It swatches VERY similar in shade to the one in their Comfort Zone palette. But I don’t think it looks identical to the Comfort Zone duo chrome shade when applied on the eyes. I can’t put a finger on this shade when I wear it.

One minute it looks like a haze of grey smoke, the next minute it looks like taupe, teal, or purple. I love it as an all over wash of color, and have been wearing every day since the video! The ‘Unchained’ shade is a light grey, silvery color. In the pan it gives off some flecks of sparkle, but when swatched, doesn’t show much sparkle.
It is a very rich shadow with a lot of pigmentation, and applies ever so smooth! The swatch sometimes appeared matte, yet the pan photographs very sparkly. The green mascara was my least favorite of the products, unfortunately. Green is my favorite color, so I had very high hopes for this mascara. It’s not that the color isn’t there. It is. Just a bit to light, for what I had wanted. I bought it thinking it was going to be a bright emerald color like that on the packaging. It turned out to be a very light olive-y color on the lashes. I applied it on top of black mascara, in hopes that it would make it more vibrant. No such luck. It was almost impossible to get it to show up in a photo, also.
I think it could be a nice mascara to wear everyday, but definitely not for a statement look. The one photo where it did show up, it would only show through in the photo on one eye. There are other shades in the Color Icon Colored Mascara line, so maybe they will work out? Have you guys tried them? I would love to hear your thoughts on them. I absolutely love the palettes and the single shade! For around $3 for the palette, and $1 for the single shadow, you get high-end quality at drugstore price. Loveeee that. I did look on the site and can’t seem to find the new limited edition palettes, so hopefully you can find them in your local drugstores. I plan to depot the shades & add them to my Madonna palette (with my other Wet N Wild shades) or create a new diy palette for them (click link for how to make your own personalized diy palettes). Please be sure to give my video a thumb up & subscribe for more future videos and giveaways :))) Thanks for watching! Muahhhh!!! XO ~Kelle

I decided to do this diy tutorial because I have been wanting to do away with the packaging on my small palettes & single eye shadows. Minimalism! :))))) So I came up with a cool way to personalize my Z palettes using recycled magazines and empty dvd cases! Life hacks! Rather than just a basic dvd case sitting on my vanity, I customized them by cutting out images from old magazines. I selected my images based on the shades I selected for each of the palettes (photo below). My favorite of the bunch, is my highlighting face palette. I love the beachy vintage look with orange parachute.
I did depot my shadows before designing the palettes. My apologies for completely forgetting to elaborate on how I secured the depotted shadows to the insides of the
palettes in the video! I used a hot glue gun to secure them to the inside of the cases. Super glue works great too. Sorry for not going into more detail on that! To stylize the front and back of your makeup z palettes:
First make sure your dvd cases have front and back plastic sleeves (if you wish for it to be personalized on both sides of the palette). And if you would rather use real photos to personalize your palettes, that works just as great, too!
Simply select your favorite images, and trim the images to fit the front and backs of the palettes. If you have a good eye, you can get a feel for if the image you cut will fit the inside of the dvd sleeve. Measuring the dvd case and image is best for precision accuracy. If no measuring tape is on hand, an image that is larger than the case is best, because you can always trim it around the edges to fit perfectly.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial video and hope you have as much fun designing your palettes as I did mine! Please be sure to give it a like & subscribe for more future videos :))) Thanks for watching! Muahhhh!!! xoxoxoox
Good day, everyone!! Welcome to my September Beauty & Fashion Favorites (in October lol)! Better late than never getting this non-sponsored blog and video up! First things first, I would like to give a big shout out and thank you to Miracle Skin Transformer for featuring me on their socials this week!
Their support is incredible!! Since the Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Balm is one of my most prized beauty possessions, I will be giving away a full size of it in my next giveaway! Pacifica is also one of my favorite vegan brands very dear to my heart that has also supported me, and I am so thankful! To express my gratitude, I will also be giving away a few Pacifica products (see below for more giveaway details)! :)))))) It’s still warm in LA, so I’ve been wearing summery clothes with Fall tones; and it just feels so weird lol. Whether Summer, Fall, or Spring, I cannot be without my Muskoka Nord fish necklace (also below). It brings some seriously good luck!! Since I love both drugstore and high-end beauty products, this video would not be complete without a little bit of both. That said, L’Oreal’s Visible Lift Blur concealer is my new fave holy grail concealer!!!!
It is like Photoshop-in-a-bottle!!! My LA Girl HD concealer is still a holy grail, but this one is just that much more smoothing for the under eye area. L’Oreal Blur is not a highlighting concealer, if that is what you desire in a concealer. However, adding a brightening primer under the eyes, beforehand, works amazingly well. I’ve been priming my under eyes with my Dirty Works Radiance Cream. Then I set the concealer with Wet N Wild’s yellow powder in the Caramel Toffee Contour palette. This combo is life!!! Hands down, this is a drugstore concealer with better than high-end results!!!! My simple go-to eyeshadow look for September was created with my Too Faced Natural At Night palette and ELF smudge pot in the taupe shade, Cruisin Chic! I use a concealer brush to apply Cruisin Chic as a wash of color all over the eyes. Then I add Moon Stone from the Too Faced palette (one of my all-time fave palettes), also as an all-over wash of color. One-hit wonder shades like these are the best for simplicity!!!
I loved this daytime eye look paired with Kat Von D’s Shade & Light Duo Blushes in the shade, Hansel & Gretel. It makes a great Fall mauve when both shades are swirled together. The silky smooth formula of these blushes is incredible for natural looking color on the cheeks, that lasts ALL DAY & NIGHT. They do look more pigmented in the pan
than they do applied on the skin; a great feature if you prefer to build up your cheek color. Unfortunately, some of the blush shades do loosely spin around in the pan (as shown in the blush to far left). This makes me a bit weary of traveling with a few of them, as I’ve had to spin a few of the other shades back into upright position. The purple-y Bonnie & Clyde shade (far right in photo above) looks way louder than it actually applies . When swirled together, Bonnie & Clyde amazingly makes a great dupe for Benefit’s Dandelion blush! You also get a ton of product, at .317 oz each. These blushes have been discontinued on the KVD site, but you can still find them online and at TJ Maxx. I ❤ them!!! Next, I am a huge fan of rose scents. Especially if the rose scent involves the aroma of chocolate, like C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries’ Rose Salve. It has been my pre-lipstick balm and eye-topper for wet shadow looks in September. I can’t be without this balm! Get the rest of my beauty and fashon favorites in my latest vid! Enjoy!
GIVEAWAY ALERT: As mentioned in the video, I will be giving away some Pacifica products and a full size Miracle Skin Transformer Beauty Balm in my next giveaway.
