Sweet & Peachy Valentine’s Day Makeup Look | Too Faced Love Palette Review & GRWM

For all of the hopeless romantics out there, alas is my review of the Too Faced LOVE palette! With Valentine’s Day approaching, it seemed like a good time to review it for you!  I was love struck when I first saw the rose gold shade: Adore (the heart farthest to the left).

The rose gold shade, Adore, in the Too Faced Love Palette had me at hello!
It was the entire reason why I purchased the palette.  This shadow is what really made my peachy-eyed look come to life in my V-day video.

After trying the rest of the shades out, I have so many more reasons to be infatuated with this palette!  The shade selection is perfect.  They blend and build color amazingly.

The two champagne shades, Cherish & Devotion, are incredible.  A gentle tap is all I needed to highlight my brow bone & inner eyes. I lined my upper last line with Amorous.  There’s something super soft, natural, & pretty that I love about lining with shadows.

Let’s talk about the waterproof eye pencil that comes in the palette.  It comes in the shade, Perfect Black, on one end, and a “thinga-majiggy” on the other end. The black pencil is soft, smooth, & blends amazing. I just can’t bring myself to call the other end a smudger.  It is hard plastic.  My advice is to keep it as far away from your orbital as possible.  I can’t imagine ever using this to blend anything, not even a peach smoothie.

The Too Faced Love palette comes with a black waterproof eye pencil that lasts all day/night.
Sweet peachy lips were achieved by layering two Wet n Wild shades, namely, Blossom Out & Within These Adobe walls.  I wasn’t expecting the alchemy to come out as peachy as it did, and I ended up loving it!  A new fave lip combo from here on out!

Also in the video, I made a makeup blunder by using a wet face brush, unbeknownst that it was still wet from the previous night’s cleaning.  Ooooops.  It streaked my beloved Sonia Kashuk bronzer & Garnier BB Cream face makeup.  So I shared my smoke & mirrors modeling trick to minimizing streaky makeup blunders that you won’t want to miss.  Without having to completely redo your face/cheek makeup.  Cuz lets face it girls and boys, who has time for that!?!

For soft pink cheeks, I first applied Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Blush,img_7294-3

with my Real Techniques blush/face brush (hot pink one below).  Best makeup brush for la face EVER.img_7414

Next I added Wet N Wild’s new cream blush stick in the shade: Peach Bums.  A ridiculously amazing shade that will look great on all skin tones.  A perfect spring/summer shade.

Lastly, I layered Crown of My Canopy highlighter onto Precious Petals.  Hello, cheekbones. This new Wet n Wild launch of powder highlighters and cream stick blushes/highlights are what dreams are made of.  More on them in my last post.

While my Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Bronzer wasn’t a product used in my tutorial, however, I thought it was only fitting to include it in this V-day post.  Is becoming happier possible when you smear these gorgeous bronzing hearts on your face?  The answer is…..

heck yes. hehe
