Hi loves! It’s #ToneItUpTuesday !! :))))) I recently had a request on Instagram to do this fitness video. A different genre than what I normally do on my channel, and a fun video to put together for you guys!
Disclaimer: I am a professional model, not a personal trainer, so it is important to consult with a physician before beginning any workout. The exercises I share with you in this video are a few of the ones that work for me in my interval training process. My daily 20-30 minute routine consists of 6-7 butt, abs, arms, legs & thigh targeting exercises. It is very important to keep your muscles guessing, so I like to switch up a lot of these exercises and/or increase the intervals. While I love 60 minute workouts, I’ve found that interval training for 20-30 minutes is equally as great! And I hope this workout goes awesome for you, too! Many of my interval training workouts consist of using my Piltates Ultra-Fit circle (left side of yoga mat). It is not necessary to have one to be able to do this workout, however. A 5 lb weight or canned food from your kitchen cupboard works great, too! I personally love the Pilates circle because it allows me to target several muscles at once and tones my arms FAST. It is amazing for inner thighs also! You can easily do thigh squeezes with it while you work from a laptop as well! :)))) For more info on the Pilates circle, click here. I am so appreciative to those of you who follow, read, & support my blog! I like to put a lot of time into my posts, so it means a great deal to me that GiltsandGlamz would nominate me! Your guys’ and gals’ support means so so SO much!!! Whether it pertains to health, fitness, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, etc., I absolutely adore writing/blogging on these topics. It was really my love for all of these things that triggered my desire to start a blog. One of my greatest passions has always been photography, so I absolutely love that aspect of blogging as well. I am constantly feeling like I am missing moments to capture when I don’t have my camera with me!!!! My advice to new bloggers is to first narrow your passions. Then blog about your passions with relevant content including photos, quotes, and witty writing. In the info age, short and sweet sentences are best for holding your readers’ attention. Also, I recommend putting in the extra time to select and edit impressive photos. A picture can speak a thousand words, so bright & powerful content really helps to grab your readers’ attention. GiltsandGlamz is an incredible blog that I love reading on the daily, and I invite you to subscribe and follow her blog as well. Two Pieces Of Advice For New Bloggers:
Let this be something you enjoy and cherish do not, do not go crazy over how many views or likes a day you’re hitting, yes, that makes you happy and makes want to put in more work, which is great and that’s how it should stay. Your number one priority should be to make your self happy with the content of your blog because when you love what you put out there so will your readers.
Be YOU, Be REAL yes, original is what your aim should be, trust me when I say you do not need to change the way you speak to publish content on your blog, write as you speak, write as you feel, and write as though you were talking to a friend in a real life, that is whats going to attract and connect readers to your blog.
Yesterday was pretty epic at Idea World 2016! We met some great health, beauty, & fitness companies yesterday at the LA Convention Center! One of our first stops was the Plant Fusion booth. Love my Plant Fusion water bottle with metal spring. The metal spring shakes up and mixes ingredients without needing a spoon or blender. Brilliant for the days when I have two seconds to eat.
Then I climbed gauntlet style monkey bars, and decided to swing & drop off once I got to the bar that was about 12 ft up in the air. I have a sublime fear of heights!!
Talk about an arm and ab workout!! Hoolahooping for an ab work is also fantastic. I couldn’t walk by FXP Fitness without giving their hoola workout a try!
Another fab company is ShowerPill! Founded in San Francisco, they wanted to develop a way to clean up after a sweaty workout,
especially for those times when a shower is just nowhere in sight. Thank you for the box of athletic body wipes, ShowerPill! They will come in handy on my runs & hikes, & are the perfect size for tossing in my workout bag! After working up a sweat in the fitness contest booths, I definitely built up an appetite. One of my favorite food booths was the Soupure booth!
My other fave flave is their Strawberry Cashew soup. So yummy! Thank you, Soupure!! We finished the day with some fun times in the Propel booth! Their fruity waters are always refreshing! Today I whipped up s’more of my Chocolate Coco Peanut Butter dip in my blender! This time I added cacao nibs to this yummy superfoodrecipe. Feel free to increase the amounts of your favorite ingredients in this raw and fiber-ful dish.
This recipe has a long shelf life when stored in an airtight container, so it won’t be going bad anytime soon. This dip is great paired with fresh fruit, so delish on crackers & sandwiches, and a great healthy frosting on cakes & cupcakes.
Basically: it’s my version ofhealthy Nutella! I hope you guys enjoy it!
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp Navitas Naturals raw cacao powder
2 tbsp raw peanut butter
2 tbsp flax seeds
1 tbsp Splenda brown sugar
cacao nibs (also optional)
Blend all ingredients with pulse mode until desired consistency.
