Happy Sunday, kittehs! Last weekend was a complete slice of avocado sauce heaven! If you have never heard of avocado sauce, you must give Kumana’s Be Sweet, Be Hot, and Be Original vegan avocado sauces a try! Each bottle is made of 2/3 avocados!
Thanks to Live Talent Now I was blessed with the opportunity to model with Kumana at the Natural Products Expo in Anaheim, CA! Kumana founders, Francisco Pavan (far right, photo below) & Roberto Pavan (far left, photo below), grew up in Venezuela and have incorporated their secret Venezuelan family recipe, chalked full of tasty spices, into their sublime avocado sauces!
If you are on the go x365, you will definitely appreciate how fast you can add some tasty avocado sauce to your favorite dishes and snacks, likeeee avocado toast. You don’t have to spend the time you don’t have, peeling and slicing up that avocado to strategically place on your bread. You can just drizzle on your favorite avocado sauce, devour it, and be out the door! Also, you can’t beat the fact that it’s only 5 calories per teaspoon, 0 grams of carbs, and 0 grams of sugar. What?!! I go through a bottle of this stuff in less than a wk! Lately I have been adding it to my toast, chili… and even my homemade ramen! Feel free to add it to your Tuesday Tacos, Monday Meatballs, or Friday Fajitas! I cannot wait to use them as a marinade for one of my favorite entrées: baked salmon. If I had to recommend a Kumana flavor to try, I would say to try them all. They are that delicious. Season greetings, everyone! I hope you all had a beautiful Thanksgiving with your friends and family! We spent the holiday in Norcal and got in as much relaxing and eating as our tummies would allow! Between the Norwegian quiche, brussels sprouts corn bread stuffing, caramelized onion dip, deviled eggs, & cheesy bacon dip, I was in a food coma in no time! One of my favorite things to do with leftover turkey is to add melted cheese, sea salt & pepper to it. So delish!!! May the holidays bring you lots of joy, laughter, yummy noms, & good fun. Today I whipped up s’more of my Chocolate Coco Peanut Butter dip in my blender! This time I added cacao nibs to this yummy superfoodrecipe. Feel free to increase the amounts of your favorite ingredients in this raw and fiber-ful dish.
This recipe has a long shelf life when stored in an airtight container, so it won’t be going bad anytime soon. This dip is great paired with fresh fruit, so delish on crackers & sandwiches, and a great healthy frosting on cakes & cupcakes.
Basically: it’s my version ofhealthy Nutella! I hope you guys enjoy it!
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp Navitas Naturals raw cacao powder
2 tbsp raw peanut butter
2 tbsp flax seeds
1 tbsp Splenda brown sugar
cacao nibs (also optional)
Blend all ingredients with pulse mode until desired consistency.

His recipe is great for boosting energy naturally and for getting super glowy skin! I personally prefer juicing with a blender over a juicer, because I love pulp. When using a traditional juicer, pulp gets extracted, so you miss out on all the amazing nutrients that pulp has to offer. Also, blenders are so much easier to clean! It is an understatement to say that I love truffle oil! So tonight I decided to make a truffled quiche. It really is one of the quickest & easiest things to make, and doesn’t require many ingredients. All you need are:
a few handfuls of greens
1.5 cups milk
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 tbsp white truffle oil
fresh ground pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add the greens, eggs, milk, grated cheese into a baking dish. Whisk everything together. Then mix in the truffle oil, few sprinkles of oregano, minced garlic, fresh ground pepper, & sea salt. The sharp cheddar cheese I used is from Petaluma’s The Creamery Store Cheese & I used Napa Valley Wine Country Kitchens White Truffle Oil.
I like a lot of spices so I am not too light when adding the seasonings 🙂 Then I place the lid on the dish and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. I like to check if it is fully cooked by dipping a toothpick into the quiche. If the toothpick is still a bit watery, it just needs to cook for a little while longer. When fully cooked, it’s time to remove. Then I top with parmesan! Enjoy! Happy Sunday! XO ~Kelle
