Weekend Vlog & EODM Concert Look

Hi guys!  I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend!  In this weekend vlog I share my weekend routine and also do a GRWM of the look I wore to the EODM / 95.5 KLOS concert on Saturday, at The Regent Theatre L.A. The eye look I wore was very warm and fall appropriate, despite our L.A. heatwave, ha! In case you are not familiar with EODM music

(and loveeeee rock ‘n roll), here is a link to their youtube channel: youtube.com/eodmofficial. You have probably heard them in lots of Cherry Coca-Cola commercials 🙂  For the concert look, I used my Wet N Wild Desert Festival Palette & Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette to achieve the warm eye look.  I finished the look with some mauve-nude lips with two of my favorite NYX shades in Root Beer Float & Sandy Kiss.  An EODM rock concert would not be the same without rockin some spiked Kurt Geiger boots!  My loves, before it’s too late:

Norcal Road Trip!

It was a beautiful week for a road trip!  The sun was shining most of the days that we were in Petaluma and San Francisco.  Petaluma is so  lush and green this time of year.

The town has also been known as the World’s Egg Basket.  Chicken art in forms of paintings, figurines, etc are displayed in many of its downtown boutiques 🙂

SO I had to include the photo of my feathery friends that I met along the way.

Lucchesi’s Deli sandwich | Petaluma, CA
We ate some amazing sandwiches at Lucchesi’s Deli.  Highly recommended!  They also make a mighty dumpling soup and amazing chili!  Monday night at The Great American Music Hall was epic for Eagles of Death Metal record release show.  If you haven’t heard their music, be sure to check out their version of Save a Prayer.  It’s soooo good!!!  It was a gorgeous venue with that San Fran Victorian charm!  I went as a cat. Meow! 😉

It was a sold out show and packed from floor to floor!  Gram Rabbit was the opening band and also rocked it out!  Photos from the show can be seen on Crowd Album.  Towards the end of the trip, Posh and I did some birdwatching in my traveling Tieks.  It was a great weekend mix of music, traveling, and relaxation!  I hope everyone is having a beautiful week!  Besos y besos!! Purple Smokey Eye Tutorial

My holy grail mascara! | Maybelline The Falsies

Hi guys!  I’ve just finished the edit of my Purple Smokey Eye video (viewable in HD 🙂 I had a lot of fun with this one!  I had no idea it would turn out the way it did and happy with how my makeup turned out for last night’s Eagles of Death Metal concert!  Many of the products used for this purple smokey eye and warm lipstick look are drugstore and very affordable.  Wet N’ Wild’s duochrome shadow from their Comfort Zone palette looks amazing as a warm backdrop to Milani’s Purrr-fect Purple Baked metallic shadow & Royal Purple Shadow Eyez stick.  The Jordana Matte Pretty Lipstick tied in the warmth from the duochrome shadow so well!  I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this look more than once.
Who knew that applying eye cream with a dampened beauty blender would be the best kept eye care secret!? I’ve been doing it every day and night, before makeup and after makeup removal.  Thank you so much to the amazing people at Planet Beauty in Encino, for giving me such an awesome eye tip! Stay tuned for my next blog where I will discuss a fantastic product they recommended.  A product so great that it has me using my Clarisonic again. TBD in my next blog :)))))))  Thank you sooooo much, Planet Beauty!  If you haven’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, I would be so thrilled to have you as a subscriber!  Wishing all of you a beautiful night! Tower Records | All Things Must Pass Premiere Party

It was a beautiful night for music under the stars. New tunes from Eagles of Death Metal graced the newly painted Tower Records lot for a rock n’ roll night to be remembered, as part of the world premiere of All Things Must Pass documentary on the record chain.

For one night only we were able to reminisce in the glory of what Tower Records once was. It was so fun meeting familiar faces and catching up with old friends!  Meeting Russ Solomon was one word: EPIC.

Russ Solomon/Founder of Tower Records

I asked him to please bring Tower back; that it would be a breeding ground for artists to find inspiration. He said he thought I was right. I am never right. Nor do I try to be. If a sock matches the other sock, I won’t wear them. And that’s what music is missing. Music is missing mismatched socks. It has become rhyme-timey, redundant, trite, & lacking of original lustre. Tower gave artists variety & original music mediums to ponder.  An outlet for musicians to get inspired and change the world. We don’t need any more politicians. We need more poets, artists, and MUSIC. All in
support of bringing Tower back, say YAY!  Colin Hanks did an outstanding job in the creation of the All Things Must Pass documentary!  If you love music history, this is definitely the film for you!!  I cannot wait to see it again tomorrow night.  Am I music obsessed? Slightly.

About Last Night! EODM LIVE at Kimmel!

Seyoon and I BTS of stage prep | Jimmy Kimmel

Miss Muskoka Nord and I decided to take a break from Monday’s work and head to the Eagles of Death Metal Concert LIVE at Jimmy Kimmel last night. It was an awesome show! EODM music never disappoints! Neither does Kimmel comedy!  Be sure to check EODM’s new album out on ITunes! Finallyyyyyyy, it feels like Fall is setting in here in LA! How awesome is Seyoon’s chic outfit and tribal messenger bag!? I waaaaanttttttt!!!  I opted with a white specked tank, specked cashmere scarf by Nepali, Current Elliot skinnies, Aqua plaid coat, & black ankle boots by Sole Society. And of course, I couldn’t be without Kat Von Dee Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade “Outlaw,” and wore my black beanie. Good thing, because it began raining just as we stepped backstage!  Music in the rain can be deduced to one word: RIGHTEOUS !!!!! Why can’t every Monday be like yesterday!? Hope you all are having a glorious week!!!!! XO ~Kelle
