Last night was all about pampering! It was an eventful week & weekend, and my skin was needing some serious TLC!! In this video, I do a Rodan & Fields Mini Facial (with first impressions) & slather on some St. Tropez self-tanner. Nothing like a spa night and tan to bring my skin back to life! Rodan & Fields’ @FreshlyFierceFaces (on Instagram) sent me a mini-facial care package containing a few lovely skin samples. The samples included a Micro-Dermabrasion Paste, a Night Renewing Serum Capsule, & Lip Renewing Serum Capsule. I loved the glow the paste & serum gave my skin. The micro-dermabrasion paste helped exfoliate my skin SO well. Any patches of dry skin were no match for that paste! 🙂 Also enjoyed its invigorating citrus scent! The Night Renewing serum was unlike any serum I’ve ever used. I was expecting a gel texture, and it turned out to be a velvety soft primer-type-of-a-feel serum. It made my skin feel unbelievable!! The mini facial was the perfect antidote to my incredibly late work night the night before! Over recent months, my go-to self-tanner has been by Vita Liberata. Sadly, that bottle of tropical island tanning goodness was confiscated on a recent flight, for being too large for flight standards. Sigh. lol. So, in lieu, I’ve been using what I have on hand, my St. Tropez bronzing mousse. It provides a very natural looking tan. I wouldn’t say it is a super dark tanner, but rather more on the natural side of tanning things. This makes for a perfect self-tanner if you have fair skin and are just wanting to go a few shades darker. I also like that this tanner doesn’t transfer to clothing. It is made with 100% natural tanning agents, so you don’t have to worry about any harsh chemicals being applied to your skin. The St. Tropez tan can also be worn (freshly applied) under makeup, and it won’t make your makeup look oily, as the tanner doesn’t leave behind any film or oily residue. Loveeeee that, because let’s face it, who has time to wait around for the tan skin to kick in before makeup application?! ;). Anywho, I hope you enjoyed the vid! Thank you sooooo much to Alexandra Pratt @FiercelyFreshFaces for the thoughtful care package! Much love!! Feel free to leave me any questions you might have about the video or products mentioned. Wishing everyone a glorious week!!! XOXO ~Kelle
Anyone else have the feels for Spring!!? The sunshine-y weather today is the first day in a while that actually feels like Spring might be right around the mountain! Yay! Felt as if it would be a good time to post my review of Tarte’s Tartelette In Bloom palette for you guys!
Upon opening the palette I was greeted with the wafting aroma of chocolate! Ummm major brownie points!! It smells identical to my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes! Who knew!?!!
That means that I, of course, had to give it a taste…and, yep, the shadows tasted sweet like cocoa! lol.
I love that this palette is equipped for any kind of natural eye look, as well as shadows suitable for smokey eye looks, like Leader, Activist, & Smokeshow.
A woman never knows what she’s up against, so it’s best to be prepared for ANY makeup look 🙂 This palette mos def has you covered!
Included are 3 satin shades, namely, Funny Girl, a gorgeous champagne shade…..
…..FIRECRACKER….a coppery bronze,
and Rocker, a taupe-y silver shade.
Of the three satin shades, Rocker, the taupe-y silver shade, didn’t swatch as buttery, soft, & pigmented as the other two shades. But, nonetheless, it is still pigmented, buttery, beautiful, & my fave of the satin shades :). The two matte shades, Jetsetter & Smokeshow, were the least buttery & blendable of all the shades in the palette. After using Jetsetter today in a look, it blended out to perfection, so maybe I’m just not the best swatcher! In my GRWM vid (above), Smokeshow applied a bit patchy on one of my eyes, & took a bit of work getting it blended out on the other. This makes it difficult to denote if the patchiness is from the shadow, the brush, or the primer.
Funny girl is the best champagne shade for inner eye & brow bone highlighting! I could seriously stare at all 3 of the satin shades for like ever.
This is an ideal palette for travel. It has everything you need with shades perfect for day-to-night, and also includes a giant mirror.
All in all, I LOVE this palette. I will get a ton of use out of it, and highly recommend it if you are a neutrals girl! Of all the shades, Rocker, Leader, Rebel, & Funny Girl are my faves! Hope you enjoyed this review!! Muahhhhhh!!! xoxoxo ❤ ❤ ~Kelle
Happy weekend, everyone!! In this video I share with you my first impressions, swatches, & review of some of Wet N Wild’s latest makeup products! If you love the duo chrome shade in their Comfort Zone palette, then you will surely love the new duo chrome shade in their new Plaid To The Bone palette! I am obsesssssed with it!! I picked up the Plaid to the Bone
& Velour Vixen palettes recently. Both are limited edition Wet N Wild palettes for Autumn 2016. I also picked up their ‘Unchained’ shade in their regular single shade line, and the new Color Icon ‘Green As Thistle’ mascara. Let’s talk about the shadows. They are fantastic, pigmented, buttery smooth textures (per usual, for Wet N Wild shadows). However, I do wish that the maroon shade would apply a bit more pigmented (see below for swatch).
BUT it is nothing that a few more layers, or a spritz of face mist on your brush can’t fix! The cream shade in the Velour Vixen palette is buttery, however, doesn’t swatch well, but does blend like a dream.
The navy shade in the Plaid To The Bone palette, wierd-ly, does not swatch navy at all. It ends up swatching into a beautiful satin teal shade (3rd swatch from right as shown below). All shades are build-able. Love that.
The duo chrome shade is my favorite of the bunch, surprise, surprise! It swatches VERY similar in shade to the one in their Comfort Zone palette. But I don’t think it looks identical to the Comfort Zone duo chrome shade when applied on the eyes. I can’t put a finger on this shade when I wear it.
One minute it looks like a haze of grey smoke, the next minute it looks like taupe, teal, or purple. I love it as an all over wash of color, and have been wearing every day since the video! The ‘Unchained’ shade is a light grey, silvery color. In the pan it gives off some flecks of sparkle, but when swatched, doesn’t show much sparkle.
It is a very rich shadow with a lot of pigmentation, and applies ever so smooth! The swatch sometimes appeared matte, yet the pan photographs very sparkly. The green mascara was my least favorite of the products, unfortunately. Green is my favorite color, so I had very high hopes for this mascara. It’s not that the color isn’t there. It is. Just a bit to light, for what I had wanted. I bought it thinking it was going to be a bright emerald color like that on the packaging. It turned out to be a very light olive-y color on the lashes. I applied it on top of black mascara, in hopes that it would make it more vibrant. No such luck. It was almost impossible to get it to show up in a photo, also.
I think it could be a nice mascara to wear everyday, but definitely not for a statement look. The one photo where it did show up, it would only show through in the photo on one eye. There are other shades in the Color Icon Colored Mascara line, so maybe they will work out? Have you guys tried them? I would love to hear your thoughts on them. I absolutely love the palettes and the single shade! For around $3 for the palette, and $1 for the single shadow, you get high-end quality at drugstore price. Loveeee that. I did look on the site and can’t seem to find the new limited edition palettes, so hopefully you can find them in your local drugstores. I plan to depot the shades & add them to my Madonna palette (with my other Wet N Wild shades) or create a new diy palette for them (click link for how to make your own personalized diy palettes). Please be sure to give my video a thumb up & subscribe for more future videos and giveaways :))) Thanks for watching! Muahhhh!!! XO ~Kelle

Good day, everyone!! Welcome to my September Beauty & Fashion Favorites (in October lol)! Better late than never getting this non-sponsored blog and video up! First things first, I would like to give a big shout out and thank you to Miracle Skin Transformer for featuring me on their socials this week!
Their support is incredible!! Since the Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Balm is one of my most prized beauty possessions, I will be giving away a full size of it in my next giveaway! Pacifica is also one of my favorite vegan brands very dear to my heart that has also supported me, and I am so thankful! To express my gratitude, I will also be giving away a few Pacifica products (see below for more giveaway details)! :)))))) It’s still warm in LA, so I’ve been wearing summery clothes with Fall tones; and it just feels so weird lol. Whether Summer, Fall, or Spring, I cannot be without my Muskoka Nord fish necklace (also below). It brings some seriously good luck!! Since I love both drugstore and high-end beauty products, this video would not be complete without a little bit of both. That said, L’Oreal’s Visible Lift Blur concealer is my new fave holy grail concealer!!!!
It is like Photoshop-in-a-bottle!!! My LA Girl HD concealer is still a holy grail, but this one is just that much more smoothing for the under eye area. L’Oreal Blur is not a highlighting concealer, if that is what you desire in a concealer. However, adding a brightening primer under the eyes, beforehand, works amazingly well. I’ve been priming my under eyes with my Dirty Works Radiance Cream. Then I set the concealer with Wet N Wild’s yellow powder in the Caramel Toffee Contour palette. This combo is life!!! Hands down, this is a drugstore concealer with better than high-end results!!!! My simple go-to eyeshadow look for September was created with my Too Faced Natural At Night palette and ELF smudge pot in the taupe shade, Cruisin Chic! I use a concealer brush to apply Cruisin Chic as a wash of color all over the eyes. Then I add Moon Stone from the Too Faced palette (one of my all-time fave palettes), also as an all-over wash of color. One-hit wonder shades like these are the best for simplicity!!!
I loved this daytime eye look paired with Kat Von D’s Shade & Light Duo Blushes in the shade, Hansel & Gretel. It makes a great Fall mauve when both shades are swirled together. The silky smooth formula of these blushes is incredible for natural looking color on the cheeks, that lasts ALL DAY & NIGHT. They do look more pigmented in the pan
than they do applied on the skin; a great feature if you prefer to build up your cheek color. Unfortunately, some of the blush shades do loosely spin around in the pan (as shown in the blush to far left). This makes me a bit weary of traveling with a few of them, as I’ve had to spin a few of the other shades back into upright position. The purple-y Bonnie & Clyde shade (far right in photo above) looks way louder than it actually applies . When swirled together, Bonnie & Clyde amazingly makes a great dupe for Benefit’s Dandelion blush! You also get a ton of product, at .317 oz each. These blushes have been discontinued on the KVD site, but you can still find them online and at TJ Maxx. I ❤ them!!! Next, I am a huge fan of rose scents. Especially if the rose scent involves the aroma of chocolate, like C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries’ Rose Salve. It has been my pre-lipstick balm and eye-topper for wet shadow looks in September. I can’t be without this balm! Get the rest of my beauty and fashon favorites in my latest vid! Enjoy!
GIVEAWAY ALERT: As mentioned in the video, I will be giving away some Pacifica products and a full size Miracle Skin Transformer Beauty Balm in my next giveaway. I couldn’t be more thrilled to give away products from two of my favorite & inspiring beauty brands, to one lucky subscriber!!!! The giveaway announcement blog and video will be up in under a week and a half. To enter, just subscribe & follow my socials (links below), and stay tuned for the giveaway video!

Happy weekend, everyone!! In my most recent video, I share with you this week’s Nighttime Skincare Routine. Proper skincare routines are essential to fantastic makeup looks. The better you care for your skin, the less makeup to wear! I do like to switch up my skincare routines very frequently. The reason for this is because it is good to keep your skin guessing. In this video, I mention one of my dry skin skincare secrets: GLYCERIN! Unfortunately, I forgot to include my bottle of glycerin in this video. Glycerin is great for locking moisture into your skin. I like to add it to my skincare products, and most especially, adding it to my moisturizers. It is also available in the skincare section of most drugstores. Especially during Fall months, layering my skincare products is key for ultimate hydration and glowing skin. That all said, the first step in my current nighttime routine is cleansing with one of my favorite oil cleansers: Nars Makeup Cleansing Oil.
Oddly enough, I don’t prefer it for makeup removal. It does work for removing eye makeup, but it does not have the suds’ing effect that I prefer for full face makeup removal. It does work brilliantly as a hydrating cleanser when I am not wearing makeup, and can also be used on wet or dry skin. I absolutely love it! An aromatherapy junkie, I love using products containing the calming effect of lavender for nighttime skin care. I follow up the cleanse with my Humphrey’s Lilac Witch Hazel (has a sweet, floral scent that is a tiny bit sweeter than lavender :). This hydrating toner is very soothing (especially for sensitve skin) and contains moisturing benefits of glycerin & hyaluronic acid. Toning with the witch hazel & cotton pad also helps to exfoliate my skin. I then massage my face and neck with my Ganique Paris Miracle Face Lift Oil. This oil includes lavender, vitamin c, & loads of other amazing ingredients that nourish my skin. Then I add my Kosé Eau de Claire Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Eucerin Intensive Repair Moisturizer.
Next, I spritz Jurlique Lavender Hydrating Facial Mist on my face & apply my Jurlique Purely Age Defying Eye Cream. The eye cream is lightweight and ever so nourishing to the sensitive undereye area.
Lastly, I moisturize my lips with Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Balm (I have at least 7 bottles of it on backup!). It is an oil-based balm that can be used for hydrating the face, lips, body. Since I do like to frequently update my skincare routines, I will be sure to update you with any noteworthy changes. If you like this Nighttime Skincare Routine Video, please be sure to give it a like & subscribe for more future videos :))) Thanks for watching! Muahhhh!!!
