Coffee black & egg white stripes sounded minimal and comfy for this outfit of the week look. And let’s mix in some sultry grey skies & some trail trekking. The skies were gorgeous-ly grey that day for this OOTW fashion video shoot upon the scenic hillside of Mulholland Drive! Comfort was on my mind for this daytime ensemble. So I went with a textured & striped top from Zara that I love to swim in (not literally ;),
& grey suede “Manon” riding boots by Rosegold, to match the weather 🙂This look would not have been complete without my Muskoka Nord orange agate fish necklace & Muskoka Nord Teepee choker! I absolutely love the Native American vibes of these pieces.
Totally off topic, but I also have a thing for Swedish fish. They are my favorite candy…like…ever! Maybe someday they will also come out with Irish fish too? :)))))) #anIrishgirlcandream
I love the big & chunky pockets on this Zara shirt. Makes it awesome for holding things like a cell, lip balm, or….swedish fish. heheheee
This look can easily be recreated to make it your own with any funk top, blue jeans, black jacket, tall boots & layering jewelry. The beauty of fashion is that the possibilities are endless! I hope you guys enjoyed this look and video. Much love!! xoxo ~Kelle
Hi loves!! This is the makeup look that I wore to my friend’s Alice In Wonderland birthday party this week! In my latest video I give you the deets on how to achieve this retro inspired editorial “Alice” look. The outfit ensemble included a black/white striped dress from 599Fashion, a diamond-shaped necklace I made with some bits and bobs I had lying around, and a pair of funky patent leather red/gold striped platform heels by Paloma Barceló.
In the video, I also take you with me to the party! Was such a fun party with some rockin LA artists!! Enjoy! xoxo ~Kelle

TGIF, my lovelies!! I am so excited about sharing this video with you! You know you must enjoy what you do, when you spend 15 hours editing a 6 minute fashion film! LOL. Spring is just about here and Los Angeles is preparing for the biggest storm it has seen in 6 or so years. That said, sweater weather it is! The sweater in this video is a vintage zip up sweater. I found it at a thrift store here in LA,
and fell hard for it. So cozy for rainy days, lyric writing, and hot cocoa. The lace floral top is by Millau and the cutoff jean shorts are by Joe’s jeans. The leather gladiators are by Bamboo and go great with shorts and boho dresses. Love that they are nude in color too because they make your legs look sooooo long. Illusions, baby, illusions! Who else is a sucker for rose gold?! The rose gold/gold two-tone belt by Marciano gets a lot of love for sure. Love wearing it with jeans and tees. The buddha necklace was a spiritual find on my last modeling trip. It can be doubled up or worn as a really long necklace. Love the sunshine color of its beads. Hope you guys enjoy this look. I had so much fun putting this film together for you, darlings!!! Enjoy & have a rockin weekend!! ❤ ❤ ~Kelle
Nothing beats the winter blues than a dose of color. Anyone else eager for Spring? Just two more months until then, so I thought I would get a start on some Spring designing. Last weekend I made another jewelry organizer, this time with some bright color, sequins, & print. That silk dress I recycled to make this organizer won’t be seeing the light of day ever again lol. Thus far I have made three jewelry storage houses with recycled materials. Of the three, the Moroccan one is my favorite. To see more about them, be sure to check out this week’s video.
I also made some new semi-precious stone stackable rings. These are just a few from this weekends two-day designing bender.
This jade piece looks great alone or paired with stackables. The jade stone tells a story from a trip I took out of the country last year. Reminds me of the sea.
Citrine reminds me of the sun.
Sea, sand, & sun. Three of my favorite things. Hope you have a beautiful week filled with divinity and lots of white light, my loves! xoxo ~Kelle
I’ll start by saying that I have a strong adoration for Too Faced eyeshadows. The Chocolate Bar palettes are definitely worth the cult following & have been in my makeup arsenal for yearsssss. One of the best makeup lines eva!! So I went into this review with high hopes, and the delectable PB & J palette certainly did not disappoint!! The colors are perfect for any season! When swatched, the creamy shades blended impressively. Buttery beauties fo sho!!
Ummmm the packaging, can we eat it, too? I did end up giving the shadows a taste in my review video. Not only could I not help myself, but I was also too lazy to get up and go wash off the swatches during filming. That said, they pack a light, candy sweet taste. lol
The versatility you get with this palette is amaze. It comes with matte and satin shades, and perfect transition shades. The array of colors are suitable for both natural day looks & smokey night looks. If you really feel like living a little, the “Jelly” shade is gorgeous for some inner eye pop. However, Jelly was the only one I had trouble with because of the overspray in my initial swatch. But after working the overspray off, it swatches & builds beautifully into bright, gorgeous color.
I can’t wait to wear Jammin’ for a smokey eye. It is an interesting purple-dark brown-taupe shade. “Peanut Brittle” is a gorgeous bronze satin sure to bring out your inner goddess. “Nuts About U” & “Peanut Butter” are rich, pigmented mattes. When worn in the crease, terra-cotta shades like these always help to bring out the color in my eyes, so they will be getting lots of love. I give this palette two big thumbs up!!! How awesome would it be if Too Faced came out with an Almond Butter palette?!!! I die just dreaming of it! Also in my review video I mentioned being in designing mode a lot lately, & included some of my latest jewelry, jewelry organization, & fashion designs. Hope you enjoy! ❤ ❤ ~Kelle
Congrats to Michele Cupp on winning the New Year’s Giveaway!!! Thank you to everyone who entered my giveaway over the past week!! I absolutely loved reading and responding to your resolutions!!! I appreciate everyone who took the time to share your beautiful thoughts on my channel!! Please don’t worry, there will be another giveaway in the near future!! Now, let’s talk more about makeup, shall we?!!! Lately I have been loving my Maybelline Color Molten Cream Shadow Duos, so I thought I would review them for you guys. I love the shades Endless Mocha, Stroke of Silver, Midnight Morph, & Nude Rush shadow duos.
The textures of these cushiony gel-powder cream shadows remind me a lot of the Maybelline Dream Bouncy blushes (coffee cake is my absolute fave bouncy blush!!) When I apply the Color Molten as a shadow, I like to use my BH Cosmetics synthetic eye shadow brush. They blend like an absolute dream. What I also really love about these shadows is that they make incredible gel liners. To apply as my liner, I like to use a small angled brush for precision placement & blend the line with the synthetic shadow brush.
Just 4 hours in these shadows, and I had myself a glossy-eyed crease look. I personally love that look, if that’s the vibe I want to achieve. But if the rockery gloss-eyed vibe is not what I am planning for on a particular day, then Houston, we have a problem. So I tried them out with a primer, and they surprised me with longevity. When used in conjunction with my Urban Decay primer potion, the Moltens stayed all day long! I do have dry skin, so if you have oily lids, I wouldn’t recommend these: unless you also enjoy the glossy-eye look or unless you wanted to try them with an oil-absorbing primer. These shadows do work great in combination with powder shadows as well. Love that.
Again, I don’t mind creasing. That is to say, when I am planning for it ;). It can give a great rock chic and/or editorial look to the eye that I love.
The only downside with these shadows for me, is that the lightest shades are not very pigmented and don’t show up that well when used as inner eye highlights. They do look great on the brow bone, however. The darker shades are really pigmented and I loveeee them!!!
If you don’t want to shell out the dinero on the Bobbi Brown gel eye liners (that have been a holy grail of mine for yearrsssss!!!), then Color Moltens are a great alternative! I have experienced absolutely no shifting or fading when they are used as liners. These shadows apply fast and easy, especially for days when you only have 5 minutes to do makeup. Just prime, apply shadow, mascara (although I forgot to wear mascara the day of this review video lol), blush & lip gloss, & you are golden.
Hope you enjoyed this review. Also, a big thank you to my current and latest new followers on my blog, Twitter, Facebook, & Instagram!! Your support means the world!!! Cheers to a rockin New Year, my loves!!! Muahhhh!!!! XOXO ~Kelle
TGIF! Here’s my concert vlog from Bush’s Election Day show at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA! Enjoy & have a rockin weekend! ❤ ❤ xoxo Kelle
Howdy, ya’lls! In my 599 Fashion Haul video, I give you my first impressions and review of the budget friendly finds available at 599Fashion.com ! If you love fashion as much as I do, then this video is for you! 599 Fashion contacted me about reviewing some of their items because they thought my subscribers might love to hear about their uber-affordable products: clothing, jewelry, makeup, pet products, accessories, etc!! The world is your oyster when it comes to fashion, and you can come up with just about any fashion look with the low, everything under $10 price tags available at 599Fashion.com! Another thing that I love about this site is that they offer free exchanges/returns; a great perk when many other uber-affordable stores and sites are final sale. When selecting your sizes, it is really handy that 599 shows you what the model’s sizes are in the item thumbnails, as well as what item size she is wearing, so that you can compare your sizes to what the model has on (they use all different sizes of models, including plus size clothing & models, which is FANTASTIC!!!). So you should not have any issues with finding something that fits, and if it doesn’t fit, you can always exchange or return it for something that will. In this 599 Fashion Haul video, I review five items that I selected from the 599fashion.com website, and try them on for you as well. I could not be more happy with the quality, fit, & look of every single item I received! I do love my sweaters to fit on the baggier side, so I went with a large in the Aztec sweater. Very happy that I did, because it fits exactly the way I hoped it would! All of the dresses I ordered have some stretch to them, which helps to compliment your curves. They look & feel quality made, and the hems/seams are sewn outstanding! Love that! I am still shocked about the amazing quality and prices of the items they sent me. Many stores/brands charge a lot more than $5.99 for a tie dye dress!!! That is for sure!!! I hope this video gives you some ideas for styling your fashion finds as well. With the holidays right around the corner, 599Fashion.com is great for affordable gifts and stocking stuffers, too! If you liked my 599 Fashion Haul vid, please be sure to give it a thumb up & subscribe to my channel. Thank you so much to 599Fashion.com for providing my subscribers and followers with some outstanding & affordable fashion options!! Much love!! xoxo ~Kelle
